Let me Introduce myself…

My name is Erin, and this is all dedicated to my own mom, who passed away suddenly and unexpectedly of an aggressive brain tumor just a couple of months ago. She was one of the most amazing moms I’ve ever had the privilege of knowing, and ever since she passed, I’ve been feeling like I owe it to her to share with other new moms like I was… Desperate to fill the information void.

So I’m doing this, not because I like attention or because I feel comfortable being in the spotlight, but rather because I want to pass on some of the many lessons she taught me. 💜

If you want to read more about my mom and why I started this blog, read my first post here.

This is a page meant to be a resource to mothers (and others) who want to learn, better their lives, and have motivation to go above and beyond as a mother, a professional, an entrepreneur, or whatever else you want to be. Whatever that is, do it like a pro.

My mom with baby Finn, age 1 week old, when we had no idea she had less than a year left to live.

I’d like to introduce myself and my family. 🌟

My husband Jesse and I have been married 14 years, and we raise two amazing boys together, Adam age 3.5 and Finn age 1.

I work full-time as a gymnastics coach, which I’ve done since I was 14 years old. It is my life’s work and I’m very passionate about it. I’ve coached many national champions and college scholarship athletes as well as had the privilege of being on the coaching staff for an Olympic gold medalist and world champion.

I am also an entrepreneur, because as you might guess, you don’t coach because it’s a big money maker (although it should be, for all the knowledge it requires). I have several startup businesses and I am trying very hard to hustle and get my money right to provide freedom for my family.

Jesse also works full-time, and has his own start-up company as well so we are a very busy family.

As you can imagine, it is impossible to fit in everything we need and want to be doing, but we go for it nonetheless, despite being in way over our heads… LOL

Reading to the babies on Christmas

Hi there, I’m so glad you’re here!

As a 20 years experienced high performance sports coach, I have a unique view of raising creative, strong, free thinking individuals from a lot of different perspectives, as a mom, a longtime coach, and a former athlete.

I’m an Entrepreneur.

A seamstress, crafter, musician, blogger,

Constant project.

I’m a supporter of home births,
good organic nutrition,
the keto diet,
financial literacy,
understanding the perspectives of others,
and in general, always working hard to become better.

The journey only stops if you let it.

You can only actually fail at a goal if you stop.

Me and Adam, age 7 months.

I believe in making informed decisions, clean eating, and preventative, natural, healthy living.

Unfortunately, making informed decisions can be a full time researching job, like I found out when I was pregnant with my first son.

I know there are many young moms out there who don’t have a role model in their life or who don’t see eye-to-eye with their own moms, and I want to make available the things I’ve learned for you all to benefit from.

So if I can help even one person, then it is worth it to put myself out there.

I’m so happy you’re here, and I’d love to hear from you! If you read some of my posts, please leave a comment and tell me what you thought, good or bad, and if you have a question you’d like answered or a topic you’d like me to cover, please let me know!
